Sainsburys new homeware range
I was in Sainsburys (as I often find myself on my lunch) and went to browse the homeware section. They usually have some nice homeware bits and pieces but to my surprise, I found myself wanting to grab and trolley and buy the lot.
I am very aware that Sainsburys often have a 25% offer so I will just have to wait for now…
The Hill Road Market Fair this Sunday
A last minute place at the trendy Hill Road Market has meant that I will be super busy for the next few days getting myself sorted. I have seen some inspiration of how to put my trios to good use which will make excellent Valentines and Mothers Day gifts.

50th Birthday High Tea Celebration at Nyland Manor
My wonderful auntie Dawn turned 50th in January. She celebrated with a ladies High Tea in the new wedding and events venue Nyland Manor in Dracott, near Cheddar. Nyland Manor is built right next to what I believe to be one of the best bootsales in the U.K. It is run by mother and daughter Rachael and Phoebe, my family friends. It’s a beautiful and quirky venue in a picturesque surroundings. It’s early days yet but I know lots of events will be held there such a craft fairs, wedding, hen parties, conferences, workshops and much more.
Such a good selection of both sweet and savoury, my favourite being the mini scones and coronation chicken finger sandwiches. The bunting and vintage crockery was a nice touch. If I was being niggly, the only thing I would change slightly is having a cake stand on each table rather than a buffet but it still worked but then maybe I just love cake stands a bit too much and am biased. Overall a very good day had by all and everyone, including Dawn was very happy and had a fab day.
RNLI Fashion Show Fundraiser
Now I am back in Weston-super-Mare, there is not a whole lot to do. So hearing that there was a fashion show fundraiser for RNLI in the Unwined Bar I decided to go along. There was a good turn out with a few stalls including Stinx, Noszkay Number 5 and The Rocks jewellery. I managed to pick myself up a nice top from Noszkay Number 5 and a pair of real pearl earring for £5, which made me very happy as I have needed a new paid for ages.
All in all a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
